So we now have a Writing column to update which is great. I was in a rush to make my dentist appointment today and I forgot my papers to grade in school so I’ll be sure to update things tomorrow, specifically the Writing section.
5L Social Studies is almost there, just missing a few names but that should be fixed for Thursday when I see them next time.
ALSO….
We will likely have a Math Review on Thursday and a Quiz/Test on Friday. I never give assessments without a review first and so I want to make sure everyone is familiar and comfortable with all of our concepts that might appear…
- rounding and estimating
- number lines
- place value to 10,000,000
- standard, expanded, and word form
Our first graded writing assessment on our first personal narrative will be due on Friday as well (if for some reason we need to delay it to Monday we will, but I’m not anticipating it thanks to the wonderful quality of work that I’ve been reading and hearing in class). Those instructions were put on today’s Homework post (9/13).
Michael Jordan was cut from his high school basketball team as a sophomore. Imagine how different the world would be if he gave up after that one instance of failure, that one moment of falling short?

5L Social Studies is Miss Lujan’s class…they had the same assignment that we had, Chapter 1, Lesson 1, pgs. 14-20, take 3 notes per purple section, copy down the vocabulary, and complete questions 1, 3, 4, and 5.
